About Me

Everyone has a story to tell.

My story has largely been evolving around food, from a very young age. I grew up in an environment where food was not just a basic necessity, but also a luxury, something to enjoy. Food does not only have to sit at the bottom of Maslov’s hierarchy of needs. For me, it is all the way at the top:  self-actualization.

I’m the kind of girl who loves walking along the streets of Bangkok in a tank top and shorts, munching food from every corner of every street, but yet at the same time, the kind of girl who loves spending a few hours dressing up for a fancy dinner at a Michelin-star studded Italian restaurant.

To all my readers and fellow foodies, you must understand that at guiltygoodness, just like in real life, I seek to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. The truth here, however, is determined by my own tastes, which may or may not differ from the ordinary man on the street. I thus limit liability only to the extent that we appreciate the same high standards of food. Nothing but the very best will do. If I’m going to sin, it had better be worth the calories!

So this is my story, a story half-told. I invite all of you to continue writing this story of mine – and of yours – by leaving comments. I promise to reply to individual comments, and my assurance to you is that I believe that food, and the critique thereof, is best enjoyed when the experience is shared ❤

Hey! How come you stopped blogging? Anyway I happened to stumble across your blog and I just wanna say I’m struggling with what you used to struggle with and I’m from Singapore too!

Hi Su! I’m sorry I stopped food blogging! It was a form of procrastination for me, after awhile. I’ve had many people ask me to revive my blog, but I decided otherwise, until you came along. Actually, the reason why I started this blog was to make sure I stay on track and eat healthy, and not go back to my old ways. So, because of you, I have revived my blog. I just want you to know that this battle, like all other battles, can be won. Just keep fighting, and don’t ever give up. If I can win this, so can you, alright? Stay strong, and remember that there’s somebody here for you if you need help!

Hello Amy! Thank you so much! I really appreciate all the kind words you’ve spoken (or rather, written). It’s wonderful to know that my story can inspire someone. Stay hapy and healthy, and keep eating and enjoying your meals!
